The Southwestern Veterinarian was a non-profit journal, published by the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association, College of Veterinary Medicine, Texas A&M University. The purpose of the journal is the presentation of ideas related to all fields of veterinary medicine: education, research, public health, and clinical practice. This Honors Convocation took place at the Memorial Student Center, on the Texas A&M University campus starting at 7:30pm. Master of Ceremonies was Jim Rundell. Invocation was given by Mike Heitmann, and the Welcome and Introductions by Dean Alvin A. Price. Images 0216- 0239 are accompanied with a program for the event. This Program describes twenty different awards that were given out during this event. On the back page, at the bottom, the Veterinarian's Oath is printed.
